The 4-stars Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna is a beautiful historical building, overlooking the gardens of the Villa Carpegna park; it is situated in Rome, near the center, at 15 minutes from the Vatican City and the St. Peter's Basilica.

Some distances from Palazzo Carpegna : the Coliseum - 5 km, the Termini Railway Station – 10 Km and the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport/Fiumicino - 25 km.

How to reach Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna

From the Airports

“Leonardo da Vinci”- Fiumicino (international flights)
Take the Leonardo Express that runs every 30 minutes from Fiumicino to Rome Termini Railway Station; the trip takes about 30 minutes (no intermediate stops). From the Termini Railway Station take the subway Line ‘A’ (direction BATTISTINI) and after 10 stops  get off at Cornelia stop

“Giovan Battista Pastine”- Ciampino (mainly charter and budget airlines).
There is no direct train connection from Ciampino Airport to Termini Railway Station in Rome.
Take the public bus CO.TRA.L. that connects the airport to the Anagnina Subway Station (line ‘A’) and to the train station of Ciampino.  The bus stop and the ticket vending machine are located in the international departure area of the airport, open from 6.10 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.
Take the subway Line ‘A’ (direction BATTISTINI) and after about 25 stops  get off at Cornelia that is at only 300 meters from Palazzo Carpegna.

If you come by car, take the ring road exit number 1 (Città del Vaticano-Aurelio).

Public Transportation
Rome is served by 2 Subway lines that cover most of the city areas: “A” and “B” lines crosses the city in a X shape:
Line A (red): 27 stations from Southeast to Northwest
Line B (blue): 22 stations from South to Northeast
From the Termini Railway Station take Line ‘A’ (direction BATTISTINI) and after about 10 stops get off at Cornelia Station.
The nearest subway station to Palazzo Carpegna is at only 300 meters (stop ‘Cornelia’ of the Line A), and connects Palazzo Carpegna to the Vatican City and many important Roman landmarks.

Taxi
The official Rome taxis are white with an identification code on the door and with a taxi meter.

Certificate of Attendance
The participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the Congress.

UEMS - European Union of Medical Specialists
UEMS credits will be asked to the Union of European Medical Specialists.
They are valid all over Europe, the United States and Canada (reciprocity agreement with the American Medical Association).
