Guidelines for Chairs:
* locate your Session Room in due time
* find yourself in the Meeting Room at least 10 minutes before the beginning of the Session
* respect the timing assigned to the Session and to each presentation
* all presentations, discussions and questions must be in English.
Guidelines for free oral paper Speakers:
* follow the instructions indicated at the paragraph "Audiovisual Instructions".

AUDIOVISUAL INSTRUCTIONS
A Slide Centre is located in the Congress Venue.
ONLY PC DATA PROJECTION IS AVAILABLE DURING THE CONGRESS
Each roomis provided with a laptop. Therefore the use of one's laptop is not allowed.
Should speakers have their personal laptop or CD Rom or USB key, they are kindly requested to go to the Slide Centre to have their presentation copied.
The presentation will be then forwarded through a LAN network from the Slide Centre directly to the computer in the presentation room.
We kindly recommend speakers to contact the Slide Centre the day before presentation.
If this is not possible, please respect the following time schedule:
* 45 minutes before for Power Point presentation on CD Rom or USB key
* 1 hour before for Power Point presentations on Personal Computer
Free Papers
Free Paper Sessions are held fromTuesday, November 30 to Friday, December 3, 2010.
Guidelines for oral free paper speakers
* Locate your Session Room in due time.
* find yourself in the Room assigned for presentation at least 10 minutes before the beginning of the Session to meet the Chairmen
* you will have 10 minutes at disposal for the speech and 5 for discussion.
* respect the timing allowed for your presentation
* all presentations, discussions and questions must be in English
* please note that the presenting author must be registered to the Symposium to give his/her presentation.
Instructions for Power Point presentations:
* Standard fonts should be used (included in Windows XP SP3/Vista and Office 2007).
On the contrary, if other fonts are to be used, please bring them to Slide Centre, at least 6 hours before the presentation, informing the technicians who will be present there.
* To make download presentations at the Slide Centre easier, CDs-Rom and USB drive are advisable. However, the presentation can be downloaded from the personal computer at least 3 hours before the presentation
Posters
All delegates are invited to come and view the posters which are displayed in the Gallery close to Meeting Rooms (D, C, B, A).
Guidelines for oral poster display
* Your poster has been given a number and shall be fixed on the poster board marked with the same number.
* Accepted abstracts will be displayed in a dedicated area. Please, check the number assigned to your presentation upon your arrival.
* Poster size must be cm. 90 (width) x cm. 150 (height) and the format must be VERTICAL.
* Posters must be hanged on from 08:00 to 09:00 on December 1 for display and removed from 18:00 to 19:00 on December 2.
* You are kindly asked to stand by your Poster from 10.30 to 11.00 and from 17:00 to 17:30 on December 1 and 2 for possible questions by the Congress delegates. Otherwise, please hang a note to inform when you will be available.
* All presentations, discussions and questions must be in English.
* Pins and tape will be at your disposal at the Congress Venue, in case you need them.
* The Organizing Secretariat is not responsible for posters that have not been collected on December 2.
* Please note that the presenting author must be registered to the Congress to give his/her presentation.
ITALIAN CME CREDITS
Italian Ministry of Health C.M.E. (Continuing Medical Education) accreditation will be applied for.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Before preparing and typing your abstract, please read carefully the instructions.
THE DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS SEPTEMBER 15, 2010.
- Abstract can only be submitted on line. Should you not have Internet access, please contact the Scientific and Operating Secretariat (pacing2010.abstract@aimgroup.eu)
- Authors presenting abstracts must be registered participants
- Acknowledgement of receipt of the submission will be sent to the stated e-mail address under section “Personal details”
- Notification of the acceptance of the abstracts will be e-mailed
- The sending author will receive all correspondence concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing the other authors of the status of the abstract
- Abstract must be written in English.
The text should be 2000 characters including:
- the title: brief and IN CAPITALS
- family name of the authors preceded by initial(s) of the first name (omit titles: MD, Pr., Dr., etc)
- the principal institution, city, country
- leave one blank line before the main text
- body of the text describing purpose, materials and methods, results, conclusion
- do not include references. Do not include tables
- it is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract; in case of acceptance, any error in spelling, grammar, or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author
- abstract will not be printed unless registration documents and full payment fees are settled.
Changes to abstracts can only be accepted until the deadline (September 15, 2010) using your Personal Page.
Please note: for each accepted abstract, the registration fee of at least one of the Authors will be required.
